Homer

From SARTRIX

Homer is the conventional name for the poet or poets who composed the Iliad, Odyssey, the Homeric Hymns and some other works (most of them lost). Unlike the contemporaneous Hesiod, hardly anything can be said about Homer as a historical figure, not even whether he was one. The Hymns are certainly by more than one author, and even the Iliad and Odyssey are now generally thought to be the work of different singers.
